Year 6 of The Santy Cup is in the books and what a trip it was. In a showdown destined to be remembered, Team Cole emerged victorious in year one of the best-of-three series against Team Carroll, edging out the win in dramatic fashion with a 13–12 Ryder Cup finish.

What made this year’s Cup truly remarkable? Not a single match ended halved throughout the entire trip a rare and electrifying feat that kept the intensity high until the very last putt dropped.  The trip also saw it's first ever Hole In One!  Nick Stock made an ace on the eighth hole at the Signature Course.  A shot that will live on forever in Santy Cup history!

Day 1: Carroll Strikes First

The action began with Team Carroll setting the tone early, storming ahead with a dominant 4–1 session win. With momentum firmly on their side, the stage seemed set for Carroll to seize control of the Cup.

Day 2: “Stop Resisting”

But Team Cole wasn’t about to fold. After regrouping Thursday night, they rallied around a new mantra: “stop resisting.” On Friday, that shift in mindset sparked a turnaround. Fueled by determination and a late night speech by Robby Campbell that will live on in Santy history, Team Cole delivered a statement performance, reversing Thursday’s fortunes with a 4–1 victory of their own to tie the Cup at 5–5.

Day 3: The Signature Showdown

Saturday morning brought the field to the Signature Course, arguably one of the finest and most enjoyable layouts the Santy Cup has ever seen. The classic Scotch Old Pal format delivered drama, and Team Cole seized the moment. They surged ahead with clutch play, building a 9-6 lead heading into the afternoon singles matches.

The Final Push

The singles session was a battle of wills. Team Carroll fought fiercely, clawing back match after match in hopes of an epic comeback. But when the final score was tallied, they fell just short. Team Cole held on, clinching the Cup 13–12 in a finish that had everyone on the edge of their seats.

Standout Performances

Several players etched their names into Santy Cup history with standout weeks:

  • Jordan Higgins: 3–1 record

  • Ben Galluzzo: 3–1 record

  • Cody Wacker: 3–1 record

  • Evan Von Rosenberg: 3–1 record

  • Robby Campbell: 3–1 record

These performances, paired with gritty team play across the board, propelled Team Cole to victory in the inaugural battle.

A Legacy Begins

With Team Cole crowned as champions, the rivalry is officially underway. Year one set the bar high with thrilling matches, passionate competition, and memories that will fuel both sides heading into the next chapter of this best-of-three series.

Congratulations again to Team Cole, who took home not just the Cup, but the honor of making history.

Jordan Higgins Claims 2025 Santy Cup Championship

In what was set to be a fresh new format for the individual Santy Cup champion, circumstances took an unexpected turn. Slow play and encroaching darkness cut the finale short, but the outcome felt inevitable. Jordan Higgins was simply too good this year. With precision ball striking and steady composure, Higgins stormed to victory, capturing the title of 2025 Santy Cup Champion.

This marks Jordan’s second Bendelow Green Jacket, having also claimed the inaugural Santy Cup crown. His performance across three demanding days solidified his place as one of the Cup’s elite competitors.

Day 1: Kadish Leads Early

The competition opened at the Masterpiece Course; a notoriously tough track filled with blind shots and unforgiving challenges. Max Kadish set the pace, posting a net -2 round to grab the early lead. Higgins trailed close behind, just one shot off the pace, setting the stage for a tight race.

Day 2: The Field Responds

The action moved to the Premier Course for Day 2, and the leaderboard came alive. Six players posted rounds at net even or better, including standout play from Will Carroll, whose low round of the day vaulted him up the standings. The tension built as several challengers positioned themselves for a Sunday push.

Day 3: Higgins Seals the Deal

Back at the Masterpiece for the final round, the course proved every bit as punishing as its reputation. Higgins, armed with a cushion from his stellar first two rounds, needed only steady play to hold off the field. Despite carding a net +4, his margin was enough. He closed the tournament with a two-shot victory, slipping on his second Bendelow Green Jacket and cementing his legacy in Santy Cup lore.

A Champion’s Performance

While the format may not have unfolded as planned, the story of 2025 is clear: Jordan Higgins rose above the field with consistency, resilience, and championship-level play. With two Santy Cup victories under his belt, the question now is; can anyone stop him from building a dynasty?
